Super fun present simple song lyrics guesssing and lyrics matching with artist and song title games for higher levels of primary and for secondary students.

GAME 1:

GUESS THE SONG

The students are given an extract of a song with gaps. All the gaps are verbs in the present simple. They don't need to know the songs because the key is to try to guess the missing verbs according to the context. If they happen to know the songs, so much the better!

GAME 2:

SONG MATCHING

The students are given a bunch of cards with song lyrics, artists names and song titles. They have to guess the songs and match them with the artists who sings them and the title of said song. The student or group with the most guesses wins the game.
